I got married in 1984.
I had extremely big and poofy upper arm mutton chop sleeves, just like Princess Diana—but my sleeves were see-through and had horizontal stripes.
And I’ve got the nerve to talk about old toilet head up there!

It occured to me that I never shared this on the sober bus. I was at my wifes company christmas party (with my wife) at the historic Fort Gary Hotel last weekend.

After dinner, while perusing the desert tables, I saw this view out the 7th floor window. So I shuffled myself between the table and the window and took this picture.
The long building in front is the Via Rail train station, behind it is the Museum for Human Rights, and off to the the right of that, the white spike is the Esplanade Riel walking bridge.
