For me therapy is essential to ongoing happy and contented sobriety.

I see my therapist twice a week.

So I am a fan and find it immensely useful

I think I may need continuous therapy, the ones run that are free are normally short term but I think after this I will pay to see someone regularly

I saw my therapist weekly at first, the bi-weekly after a few months and now I go about once a month, sometimes even bi-monthly. In my case the sessions are all about giving me the tools I need to make myself better, but the bulk of the actual work takes place in my everyday life. It is always nice to go and just share and get feedback. I almost view my counselor as a "life coach" now - she keeps me on track but always reminds me that I am the one that has control over it all.

Yeah I defo think it would be good for me to keep it up every so often afterwards. My brain feels like its trapped in a pressure cooker I need to take the lid off every once in a while.

Im not great at opening up but I have alot on my mind, I need to tackle it at some point.

High anxiety today so im off to meditate. Next friday cant come quick enough.
