Vandermast, you never have to change your sobriety date--it's up to you and your Higher Power. Over the last 31.5 years, I've witnessed people stay sober through all kinds of "life's events" and I've stayed sober too with plenty of my own boredom, drama, heartache, and self will thrown in.
I do believe permanent recovery done one day at a time is possible. I have to repeat today what I did yesterday and tomorrow will take care of itself.

I am on the Eurostar back to London and have had time to catch up with you guys. A big thank you to MountainManBob for starting this thread.
I was very busy during my brief stay in Paris but I did get out for a while. There is some big piece of iron behind me, I have no idea if it has a name.

Great picture saoutchik! Now I can say I know a person who has visited the Eiffel Tower. 
Do you see the palm tree reflection in the koala bears sunglasses? Wonder where he is visiting?
