Please stay on the Sober bus - pt.14
Best wishes to Mrs Dragon, I hope it is short lived.
The Canadians and those from the North East US on this thread would be contemptuous of the dire warnings our media outlets are issuing us in respect of a forthcoming cold snap. You would think a new Ice Age is imminent. They exaggerate. I must have said that a billion times.
Never mind, the working Monday is done for another week.

I hope you are feeling better today X2.
In the interests of furthering science I would like to try one of those cherry cornmeal scones.
Incidentally, in North America does scone rhyme with stone or gone? It can be either here in the UK which is a bit confusing. The way I say it rhymes with stone.
Glad you enjoyed your ukelele lessons Dragon.
I sure most of you have seen the film Deliverance, here is some competitive banjo-ing. The young guy in this is one of us I believe.

What a wonderful experience to be sharing with your daughter Dragon.
To me that would seem like such a peaceful and calm profession to have.
Hello RecklessEric, I have my boots packed.
saoutchik, I say it like stone and own.
The dueling banjos song is a great foot tapping song.
Thank you for the get well wishes everyone. I am still on our Sober Bus, bringing a fresh box of kleenex while I take another sick day in sick bay. I'll try not to spread my germs.
Enjoy your day/evening and take care everyone!

Maybe a trip to the ER for Tamiflu or a chest X-ray?????????
Pneumonia has been the primary complicating factor.
Elder Statesman and Bleeding Deacon are AA terms for 1) wise and humble oldtimers who share their experience when asked for or is appropriate to do so; 2) the second one isn't so pleasant to be around, he/she is sore that the group doesn't do things the their way, secretly they want to be in charge and they are quick to share their opinion.
Good Tuesday Morning SBG. Today is international Polar Bear Day. And therre is no better place to go and relax with the polar bears than Churchill, Manitoba....
