New Year's resolution

So for my New Year's resolution I'm not looking to become a new me, just a better me. I got complacent and lost track of who I was. Picked up a bad habit or 2 that took me away from my journey of being the best I can be. Excited for what 2017 has to bring. I have a wife who loves me unconditionally, 3 beautiful children, family and friends that that I can always count on and a career that I love. Here's to a great 2017

Glad you are moving forward into 2017 with positive goals Mester. I'd caution about just treating your addicting as though it were just a "bad habit"...it is much more than that of course.

Cool beans, Mester!

Just remember, all of those blessings are enjoyed and appreciated even more when sober.

We'll just agree to disagree. My bad habit is I drink too much. I stop drinking, bad habit gone. Just because I don't call it alcoholism doesn't mean it's not. I also eat too much fast food, which I never used to do. I consider that a bad habit.

It's got nothing to do with disagreement or agreement Mester. Only you can accept your fate moving forward as it relates to alcohol. I'd suggest reading back through your last few weeks of posts here for some reference. And again, there is nothing you have to prove to anyone else...this is purely personal decision you need to make. Less than 10 days ago your decision was a lot different
