I know I just sat here and read the detox stories, i just can't process what I read.
I can't afford to go back to the Dr or a detox center or the ER until my insurance transfers from Texas 1-1-17. I'm on my own here except for aa and this forum.
My mind is mush, and inhabited by gremlins .
Ate at the alano club and lost it. Muscles are twitching. Cold sweats then cold feet and hot sweaty head.
I feel blessed tho, I'm still here. A huge mess of human, but here.

any free clinics near you ladyfriends?
There are a lot of free or low cost clinics around - if there's one in your local area you might get some medical advice there?

I hope you can find some relief Ladyfriend, I'm glad you are seeking help here and at AA. Living near Los Angeles there are a large number of treatment centers and many are most likely subsidized and offer free or reduced fee help. This link might be helpful.
