How about going to a coffee shop? You may meet new friends. I was an evening drinker so I fill that time with something productive, creative or get out of the house. Do you have neighbors to visit? Volunteer work? I would not choose to stay around home walking on eggshells.

Sleepie, I know someone very well who has some learning disability issues that I think overlap some with yours. I know that structure and certainty are the best things for her, and that you are unfortunately forced to live without too much of either. I think you're doing so well accomplishing everything you have despite the really not ideal situation you're in. Thanks for sharing your experiences. I hope the work you're doing on your LD starts to have ripple effects for you.
