occasionally I just like to count days sober - Pt 4
Day 37. Partied on Saturday bachelor party until 7AM and did not had even sip of alcohol. It was depressing, amazing, discovering, overwhelming and shocking experience. I wish you would have seen what I saw. Blackout drunk people, unconscious young women. I have never been so pressured to have a drink. Everyone pushed me starting from asking and in the end it was like that: You either drink or I never go out with you and your sobriety is stupid so as you. Even bartender made fun of me when I ordered mineral water. This is the mentality of people I live with.
In the end, it gave me completely new understanding what people can be.

Justin, lots and lots of people dont drink because of health reasons, or because theyre taking medications, or religious reasons, or simply because they dont like it. I've never had a negative reaction from a bartender when I asked for a diet coke, shirley temple or fruit juice. so dont take it personally and congrats on your sobriety!
