I've been wet the bed drunk a few times, It wasn't because I drank to many cokes.
Do yourself a favor and stop drinking, while you're at it stop drinking soda pops too.

Unfortunately if you're an alcoholic it's very common to wet the bed. I've done it plenty of times.

yeah I hate to say it but this is right up there with me and my drinking buddy wondering if they where poisoning our beer cause we both where having panic attacks all the time. we thought maybe it was some conspiracy and they where putting something in the beer.

I was in denial about a lot things before I stopped drinking, that alcohol wasn't the reason for any of it.

The pain in my side was just trapped wind, alcohol helped me to sleep, I'd be bored if I quit drinking etc etc

This is simply a wake up call that something needs to change in your relationship with alcohol, don't rationalise it away!!

The Dr would go for the most common things happen most , you drank you fell asleep with a big overworking bladder and kidneys and as your body went into relaxed/unconscious state your bladder emptied, second cause would be a dream pee, caused by a full bladder.
There would be no point going further apart from a urine test for infection and that would be to cover him not realy for you.
Your in the right place for help, abstenance would be the treatment of choice.
John.

Yep you passed out and couldn't wake up. Chalk up a ruined mattress as another reason to get sober.

I was a notorious bedwetter.

I am happy to report that I have not wet the bed once since getting sober.

I consider myself lucky that I never had this happen to me. I actually didn't even think that this was a real problem until someone started a thread in the family and friend forum about this. I had no clue. What an eye opener that was, especially reading it from their point of view.

I have to agree with the others, this is a big wakeup call in regards to the drinking. Looking back now I am actually surprised that this didn't happen to me.

I think you are trying to find a lot of reasons that you wet the bed. Ultimately, I am betting if you don't drink the alcohol you won't pee the bed. I hope this pushes you to see that you need to make some changes.

"I'm thinking the reason it maybe happened is because I usually drink Full Fat Coke (which contains caffeine) and I would always have gone before I went to sleep or awoken and gone."

Yea, you're probably right..

That's never happened to me.

Did you also drink a lot of water before you went to bed? Some people do this before bed when they drink since they think it prevents a hangover.

I know of a friend that said that she drank so much vodka something nastier than peeing in her bed happened.

You were drinking and you wet the bed and didn't wake up. Ok

Next time you drink you may vomit and NOT wake up.

What a way to go.
