Upsets me as well....

As long as they keep concerned about someone elses problems they don't have to be concerned about their own.

This is a reason why I want to stay in my bubble and just talk to people in AA.

Unfortunately, that is not sensible to me, and I do in fact have to call my Dad and my step-mom-in-law after not talking to them for a month. They know about my relapse. I know they are disappointed. I know they don't understand and they think I am pathetic and weak.

The important thing is not to internalise those misunderstandings I think Elizabeth - you are neither weak or pathetic - none of us are

It is what it is - like Scott said, you can bet they were talking about us when we were drinking too....I prefer this kind of talking

Looking back from this point in my recovery, basically people either got used to me getting sober or they gravitated out of my life. Problem solved either way

(I learned to think a lot less about what other people thought of me too

you're doing great Maxx - keep it going

Thanks Dee! Yeah, its been quite the ride! Although i'm nowhere close to were I want to be. Making my steps as best I can..

It's a work in progress with not caring what other people think. Don't think it will be that hard though - i've got enough on my plate already! Plus i'm moving haha..

I'm just happy to be alive Dee..amazing how time fly's

Feels like I survived a plane crash or something. whew..

Took it waaaay too far with the drinking..
