Hi - good, you have some things you can sell if need be... and good that your uncle will help. I am sorry your mother responded in the way she did - that is sure hard to take. Main thing is you can get there - keep us posted!

I am so glad you are all set!! Well done I think I would feel scared too but, honestly, it feels so much better being sober that I would take that feeling 10 times over!!

Yes, I am on rehab. This place allows cell usage at certain times. That's how I'm writing this. Thanks to everyone's support. Rehab isn't even 1% as scary as I thought it would be. I'm glad I came. This place is 35 days and that's long enough for me to dry out and learn some tools to stay sober. They team up with halfway houses and do intensive outpatient programs after. So, if I can, I would like to stay at one of those and do the 2 month out patient. So that's 3 months sober before going home.

I'm out of rehab and at a good halfway house in Florida. Going to rehab was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I look a million times better it is amazing.

Thanks for giving us an update. I am happy for you. I could relate to a lot of what you wrote in your initial post. Take good care of yourself. You deserve to be taken care of.
