I am over four years from my last drink, and I am as far from my next drink as ever - and that means never. If that is the same distance as a newcomer from his next drink, then my hat is off to him. Good going there, champ!

This thread helps me to remember these sober days.
God willing and the creek don't rise,
I will have 8 years in a month.
I'm very happy that I no longer drink.
And, my family and friends are also happy with the sober Bob.

I really don't know how many days. Got sober March 6, 1993 so my last drink was the day before. But I try and keep things simple.

What's important is I didn't drink today.

138 glorious days of sober living. Still so much personal work to be done but i'm on the right path. Very very proud of myself. All things are possible with determination /hard work.
