If I take Motrin PM it really helps me get to sleep and stay asleep but I don't want to be dependent on it either. The thing I don't like especially about taking a med like that is AS I fall asleep I tend to have weird dreams or even tremors or something as I fall into an actual deep sleep. I suppose being a light sleeper on a regular basis is what I will deal with

One of the many blessings I've received in sobriety is the ability to sleep like a baby. Typically, I read for 15 minutes or so, turn off the lights and am asleep within 5-10 minutes. I sleep 7-8 hours and wake feeling rested. If this was the ONLY thing I'd receive by stopping drinking it would be well worth it.

I have a rx for Xanax ,for those odd times im awake for most of a couple of days , or sleep very little .

If I make a mistake and take it too late ,it has its own hangover it causes .

I have not drank like a professional drinker in about 18 months ,so that's not it im sure .
