Please Help If You Can... Nobody Is In The Chat Room
I need serious help... I am a severe alcoholic (drinking more than 750ml of vodka per day, probably more).
Please, someone, can you PM me or join in a chat room? I need help.

I've called and texted AA friends, everyone is asleep or whatever. I respect that. It's just a bad time for me. I want to die. I don't want ambulances here for the 7th time this year. What on earth should I do at this time? If someone can post a hotline number in this thread, I will call it. I am just not capable of calling one or finding one right now.

that won't help, I am suffering now.
Who on earth cares? Answer: NOBODY.e
This is not a pity thread nor do I want it to be. Just wanted to be honest about my feelings as an alcoholic. (There are no typos in this post because I spent a long time making sure there weren't).
I'm not sure if 211 is 24 hours - I have a feeling it's not.
Not sure what kind of help you need sobergirl but hopeline is 24/7
Hopeline-dot-com has free 1-800 line that will connect any caller in the US who needs help to a certified crisis center nearest the caller's location. Services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The number is:
1- 800-784-2433

Sobergirl, there have been some good resources posted here for you to use. Hopefully, you've made some calls already, but if you haven't please do, it can only help. And if you want, keep posting here. Someone will be around.
And remember that even though you're in a dark hole right now, you don't have to stay there. You can start climbing to the top. It's hard I know, but try to see and feel hope. Try to see today--even though it's a very bad day--as the start of new and better period of your life. There are a lot of people here who have been exactly where you are right now, and they've been able to get better. You can do the same.
And please let us know how you are. We may not know you personally, but we are concerned.

Just wanted to add my name to the list of people that care. I've been there. 28th of january 2013 to be exact. I was inches from killing myself when I made the choice to abandon myself to the AA program and move into action. I've been sober since.

Just wanted to update... thanks so much for the concern. And the phone numbers. I tried calling the numbers given (except that 800#) and nobody answered. Like i said above, the AA hotline was not helpful. Nor has it ever been. I have called it numerous times, nobody ever cares or gives any kind of real help. This is not the first time I've been suicidal due to alcohol. I was recently in the hospital on suicide watch 24/7. It didn't matter, it didn't help, and nothing ever does, except when strangers reach out kindly. THAT is the only thing that helps. I am very grateful to the person who PM'd me. I could not get into chat no matter what I did to my browser.
Thanks again for the replies.
