Anyone watch cricket?
The Aussies have V.B. Victoria Bitter on their caps to appease their brewery sponsor.

Some time over here alco pops, directed towards the teen marker, was taxed more; don't know how well it worked...................Are there alco pops in the U.S?

Lot of entrepreneurial big corporation advertising is quite heartless!

My friends daughter who is 18 and has never drunk, nor do her parents told me that the schools memento gift for her grade 12 prom was a shot glass with the school crest on it. I was horrified! What kind of message is that sending to young people who are not even legally of age to drink/purchase alcohol?
Totally inappropriate of the school, in my opinion.

I have no problem with commercials and billboards, and the like. That is simply marketing, and they are doing their job.

What does annoy me to some extent, is the glorification by many (young and old it seems). When I was in College I received some degree of exaltation for my drinking prowess, You see all those "Social Media" connections taking pictures of themselves brandishing drinks around in pictures like its cool and they must advertise how awesome they are due to the fact they drink a beer and a few shots.

If they knew how it really is to drink to the extent of what they glorify, they wouldnt celebrate it so much. That is what annoys me, but understand as well.

This is a great anti-alcohol PSA that toys with the romantic way alcohol is advertised.

Just keep watching past half-way. Brilliant...

I served a table tonight of a family of 6; Mom and Dad and 4 kids. The two older boys were early teens I'd say. Mom and dad ordered a couple drinks and when I asked the boys they asked for beers. Mom and Dad laughed hysterically and the mom quipped, just bring them a bottle of wine and chuckled away to herself. It was all a big joke. I did not laugh.

Won't be long now folks before the boys will be coming home staggerin' drunk. Broke my heart.

Yeah, I had Mr. French on there for awhile. I change 'em quite frequently, kinda like channel surfing.

BTW, is yours Patsy Stone? I love me some AbFab!
