To the OP: Only happened to me during my drinking career.

Now, had you asked whether or not I'd ever lost everything dear to me in life, well then, my answer is "Yes." Twice.

I almost had an unintentional slip about 8 months into sobriety, while at a dinner celebrating my daughters college graduation. Everyone ordered drinks after we were seated, including my daughter, who ordered some kind of exotic margarita. Without even thinking I caught myself reaching out to take a sip from her drink, just to taste it. I did manage to stop myself once I saw what I was about to do, but I kinda stunned me for a few minutes.

use it as a reminder: when out with others, keep track of your drink. take a rubber band to put around your cup or something to show its yours.

Happened to me once. I went to take a drink of my wife's cup and their was alcohol in it. It was a small sip, but it burned on the way down and I immediately made me sick to my stomach. Kinda a scary feeling, but glad it did go any further
