Math sucks... I only say that because I got stuck beyond trig at precalc. ( the only differentials I can deal with have wheels attached to the other ends of the shafts that go through them)

I can tell teh difference between 0 and 1 though so I do allright with digital electronics. I tend to like work that involves monotonous on/off type states.. like the lawn .. it's either cut or it isn't... no having to determine any analog quantities there.

this thread turned into a laugh riot.

In continuing with our recudescent trend to clear thinking and precise
brain activity, it would be irremissable for me to keep any clues from
all of you to escape. I wouldn't like you all to vituperate me for leaving
you in a conundrum. You might not let me schmoose with you any more.

Historyteach and Moot-I'll PM you with clues if you want to send some questions. Wouldn't be fair to post the answers.

If you escape the Crimson room, there is a next level that is more challenging.
Escape The Viridian Room

Gooch. This Time and Space Mystery is very cool. How many levels are there? You are on level 11? Is it a 12 level program?

Don. Do I get any points for "schmoose"?

It's great to be sober today. I even got a great new job this week. Good to see my brain cells earning a better living for a change.

Rudiger

PS Moot-

Your avatar reminds me of this program.

Just 25 points, Rudiger, because it's only an optional spelling. But I wouldn't want to kvetch about a Yiddish word. I mean, I'm not a mensch, but I'm no schlemiel either.

Unless, of course, you meant like the little animals in Lil Abner, which only people of a certain age will remember. And those I'm not sure of the spelling of.

I remember the smoose(sp?) They were the universal answer to every problem...Al Capp was an evil genius lol.

I have no idea how many levels Time and Space has.. haven't had the "time" to "space" out in it..and when I went back yesterday to play I had wiped my cookies so I have to start all over ... I can't remember which level it was but there was a horrible reubics style match the shapes trial to undo a lock. I couldn't even remember where the key for the floppy disk storage box was on level 1. arrrghh!!!!

Well I gotta say these links from rud and Gooch are, to say the least, serving their purpose in this thread. After my spons and I parted ways this morning, I came to the crimson room in an effort to let go of the tension of the last few days. My daughter asked me what I was doing, and I explained to her I was doing a brain exercise. She said: "Oh daddy, you mean like this..." and immediately pushed me away from the comp so she could show me.
So, at my darling daughters insistence ( please cut me some slack on this),
here is her contribution to our little games room...
http://barbie.everythinggirl.com/Act.../Games/carfun/

What can I do, she said I had to do it...

re imgetting..
that would indeed be the ubiquitous mutha- and on my crews, best if you also grok 'madre' - and of course all bilingual scatalogical adumbrations , metaphorical and otherwise are , well, just part of our colorful natures!

So then I take it the iteration of your pondification is for the edification and mystification of prestidigitation and unending prostication for calculation with regard to your station and complication notwithstanding the . . .

Oh, never mind!

We're in the midst of that springtime riot right now and it's glorius. I was able to put together quite a nice boquet of flowers out of the yard for the mother of the house last Sunday. They say it's been dry lately, but certainly not a drought. (In my mind) If you count the ABC stores, we'll not dry up anytime soon. Fortunately, I'm not counting these days.
