My neighbors don't talk about me, but my former coworkers did. I allowed that to make me anxious enough to relapse. What a pity. I'm trying to learn to shake off gossip and rumors. Doing my best to be a decent person each day should be enough.

this is an old thread. As of now I don't notice the neighbors talking about me. maybe I was very paranoid? I don't know. They really have nothing to talk about if they still talk about me because I haven't dumped empties in a few months now. Whether they are talking about me or not doesn't matter as much to me now. It is when I am using and I isolate. Thanks for the replies. This is something I have to work on even in recovery. Not thinking about gossip that is going around about me. Just working on myself
