A lot of us have done the same thing. Trapped in our desperate alcoholism. You can be free from it. I know the helpless, hopeless, self loathing feeling. My heart goes out to you.
I have 2 months sober now. Reading your words brings tears to my eyes.

All I really needed was the slightest belief I could go without a drink. I found support on this site. As each day passed without alcohol my belief in acheiving sobriety grew.

Find your strength and believe that you really CAN do what you want to do.

You are not alone thats for sure. Rubbing alcohol as well.
knew the consequenses but didnt matter

what matters now is getting the help you need.
