It was very simple, true, but since I decided that this is all a mind over matter thing, it would only be as difficult as I made it. It was all up to me. So, simple, yes. Easy? Not really, I don't know. I just refused to fail.
I hope it is clear by the tone of our remarks, that yes, Mark and I do share a high degree of mutual respect. SR is the better place for his contributions.

It became fairly easy for me once I made the mental leap, once I learned the Jedi mind tricks.
Of course, part of that mental leap is to assume a stance of absolute confidence. Any self-doubt is considered AV. To me that includes spending too much time fretting over whether the task at hand is difficult, since in the end that's irrelevant. Unconditional abstinence means just that; everything else is just noise.
Cool discussion. I value our differences as much as our commonalities.
