My mother fell recently and what was a big bruise on her shin, is now well on it's way to being a leg ulcer.
I went over today and took a look and was quite shocked.
Anyway, I am good with wounds and I joked that we must have it fixed by Saturday! when my sister comes down to visit and it is my mother's 80th birthday!
I then went and met my brother and went to a meeting and my swimming lesson!
A man in the pool was quite shocked to see 2 women splashing around laughing and drowning and laughing some more. There were Down Syndrome adults in the pool who looked at us with pity. They are water babies.
I got a couple of texts from the ex and survived that too.
I took off tomorrow to put the kibosh on the stupid way I was acting about not having enough work! Ha! Well I have 4 days lined up next week, so I am forcing myself to relax about temp work. That is the thing about temp work, it balances out. Roll with the good times. Don't panic with the quiet times. I did this years ago in San Francisco and it worked well for years. Was able to go for month long visits to Ireland without having to beg for time off. Difference this time is different place every day. This has been good for me. Getting back my confidence and no control issues. Wacky boss? Not my problem. Unsure if the place will be open in a month? Not my problem. Great.
I am trying to just get balance. It is so difficult.
Sorry, bit of a rant, but ranting can be good.
