Well hopefully I won't have these too often because that really threw me off!

In my experience the drunk dreams went away after about a year. They aren't much fun at the time, but it's just one of many challenges recovery will throw up. Buckle up. I ain't gonna lie to you - recovery can be a bumpy ride. But it's worth it.

Post Re:My first drunk dream.

I'm glad it happened in your dreams and not for real. It does seem odd though, doesn't it? How our dreams align somehow with our old way of thinking. I guess the subconscious plays a role in that somehow, or maybe your dreams are masking a hidden desire to drink, once again. It's scary anyway, isn't it? You're on the right path "FF" so don't sweat it, okay. A dream is still a dream and reality is still reality, so don't confuse the two. The only reality that matters today is also a sober one, and you're doing fine in that area. So be proud of that, okay.

~God Bless~
