The last hurrah!
insanity=repeating the same thing over and over, expecting different results.
get a program, get in treatment, get a job, tutor school children who are struggling with math or reading, help out at a nursing home, work a soup kitchen, be a mentor, work in landscaping, work in telemarketing, get cpr certified, walk outside, plant a garden, maintain a fishtank, build a box to put your favorite things in, give blood, take up photography, write some poetry and keep a journal, collage some canvas, string your own lacrosse stick, shape a surfboard, build and shoot rockets, read some books, help at church, do something different- good luck.

Hey, Paulos.
Sorry to hear you're struggling. You had really encouraging and kind things to say to me the day before I checked into rehab (on Feb 20th). You were right...it was an incredible and life-changing experience, and I thank you for helping me to feel better.
Meantime... it sounded very much like you'd been to rehab a time or two yourself, is that true? Ever thought about going there (again)? Many of the folks I met there had been several times, and there were a LOT of people...especially young people...who had also been diagnosed with ADD, OCD and other anxiety disorders.
I'm prayin' for you, bud, and keeping you in my thoughts...sending good recovery juju.

Hey Paulos
thoughts and support going out to you.
I tried to quit for years. and failed. Eventually I got a different result. Hope you do too
if this final push doesn't cut it for ya, there's lots of other options out there too...

Maybe there is someone you can be accountable to on this?
Will your mother or caretaker support your resolve to get help if you fail again?
Print your post out and put it on the fridge. I think I have heard you say before that you would get help if you drank again, and you drank again and start blaming medications, and doctor's and circumstance.
Maybe you are alcoholic - no surprise that an alcoholic would drink alcohol.
Most can't make it at all, most of those who make it need outside help.
How are you going to keep your word? - Please answer this for yourself, not for me.

Hey paulos, I hope you get it this time... maybe it is about time you tried getting help with your recovery though...i have seen a lot of your posts and you doing it alone doesnt seem to work too well, which is no suprise- it was that way with me, and most i have heard share. But who knows, maybe you will suprise me...keep posting - we are all rooting for you here as matt said. Good Luck.
I tried sooooo many times to do this alone. It never worked.
Our own ideas and ways of thinking do nothing but keep us sick.
If you truly have OCD as well as clinical depression, you may very well need to see a Dr. like Signal suggested.
I hope you will realize that you cannot fight this battle alone. I had to go into many treatment programs, in and out patient, short term, long term, hospitalizations, prison terms, mental health admits, the list goes on. Don't give up. This is worth fighting for.
God Bless & Thank God . . . Just for Today,
Judy
