Pam, thanks for posting.
I know your heart is broken as you grapple with this very difficult time in your life.
Life is filled with deep deep suffering. And we all know this, and we accept it when it's happening to other people. But when it happens to us, we realize how difficult it truly is.
I do hope you find consolation in the fact that you personally didn't do anything wrong, this isn't something you had any control over. This is something that happens to everyone, in all it's discomfort and misery. You cannot control that part of our human life. Your reaction, though, you have control over. Soft blankets, warm tea, comfy couches and long sleeps are good for you. Blessings.
