I am nursing a twisted tendon/sprained thumb in my left hand. It's an injury that I think happened when I fell while drunk a few months ago. Acupuncture helps with the pain, but I also went to my doctor who told me to wear a splint for 3 weeks to see if it heals on its own. If not, I'll be headed to a hand specialist. I am angry that I let this happen to myself, but at the same time I am grateful that it isn't more serious. I have use of my hand, it's just a little painful. I am happy to be sober, I can tell you that much.
