Grateful for something small this morning, I have a large amount of cash on hand and I know I will not spend it on drugs today. This used to always be a huge trigger. Simple things

(((((grtgrandpa))))) Thinking of you and wishing you well

Grateful that I have the option to do very little when I'm not feeling well

Grateful for animal programmes on TV. They always make me smile - and Chris, the Bondi vet, is fairly easy on the eye too!

Grateful for soft beds and early nights

I feel the love today

Grateful for all of the love on SR, and especially this thread.

Grateful to belong, fit-in, be one with this goup of drunks in recovery from our illness/alcoholism.

And the only requirement is the desire to not drink alcohol. How good is that?

That's the miracle of it. It just happens. I feel the love.

Grateful Grtgpa is feeling the love!

Grateful I get to go visit my Dad today and have lunch together. Grateful he is eating healthy and being patient with his surgery recovery.

Grateful to continue to work on acceptance of myself and others.

I am grateful for waking up today sober when I almost gave in to a pity party that included lots of alcohol last night.

Grateful that I fought my demon, posted on here instead ... and am SOBER today! Yeah!

Grateful I can work at my second job today, which includes driving around out in the country and enjoying the lovely fall day.

Grateful for my pets who give me unconditional love and who I love with all my heart.

Grateful to be thinking of putting up fall decorations at home here and maybe buying a fall candle for some lovely scent in the air.

Most of all, I am grateful to be sober ... so that I can feel how I feel now which is positive and even have the mindset to be able to post on this page at all.

Grateful that last night when I had a sip of beer, it turned to just be a dream!!

Grateful for a beautiful sunrise. The colors get more intense in cooler weather.

Grateful I drive back to my real job today just for one day before another temp week next week. The contrast will be good for me to help me envision what I want.

Grateful for a robe to wear when I take the dog out in cool weather. Lol
