Grateful my Dad is awake and alert enough this morning to text me! That's more than a lot of 84 yr olds do even without having had 6 1/2 hours of surgery the night before!

Grateful to remember (even in my nervousness of a new temp job today) that I often enjoy having a challenge to distract me from other things I have no control over.

Grateful to be SOBER.

Grateful for today and another sober morning. Even when I am dead tired, it is so much better now than it was before.
Grateful for time spent with my daughter last night and a upcoming weekend of travel soccer with my son.
