As I approach my 90 day mark, I find it funny how Ive had dreams (during sleep) of me drinking some beer with the buddies.....
It doesn't freak me out, it just makes me wonder how wired my mind has become after all those years of drinking......
Sort of like when I left the military......how I would often dream of still being in the military, and waking up thinking Im late for role call, haha.

Dreams are just that...dreams. After nearly seven years sober I still have the occasional drinking dream, however I also have plenty where I reject the alcohol that someone tries to serve me...maybe I'm making progress

Sigh.....
Lots of truth to the fact that the first 90 days wasn't going to be easy.....I mean, I felt great at day 14....Even day 30.....Even coming close to my first 90 days, and its been quite a roller coaster full of ups and downs....
I just wanna feel normal again...whatever that is....

Although I sleep fairly well now, and go to bed at a decent hour and get at least six hours sleep......I find it hard to wake up mornings.....Even though I can get up without pain, grogginess, or feeling fatigued like I had been bingeing the night before, it still takes me about 15 mins of walking around out of bed before I really start to wake up.....
Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Day 88!
Its that time just after I wake up in the morning....after a good nights sleep is when Im feeling most energetic and ready to face the world.....
As the day progresses is when things get gloomy on some days....Particularly in the early evening.....Nothing major, just guess Ive used all my energy reserves by then and the body prepares for another good nights sleep.
I've been invited to a birthday bowling party today....yes this usually involves beer...lots of it....
I'm quite confident I wont be induging at this point....
Its no longer a stuggle for me I assure you.
