On the couch

Physically, lying on the couch. Emotionally, nowhere, lost. I think I'm happy, I feel happy, but obviously deep down there is something that is making me want to get so drunk to escape. I'm looking forward to being levelheaded and the person I am when not under the influence of alcohol, for the next 30 days and maybe more.

If I can do it, anyone can! I know that's a cliché, but it's real. Nobody in the history of the universe enjoyed drinking more than I did. But I quit doing it. And I'm not going back.
