I was feeling positive about the chance of me staying in recovery and decided to google alcohol recovery forums. I was just at home, it was early in the day. I used to do other forums a long time ago and lately felt like getting back into it. I do not work so have a lot of free time. I am trying to do more stuff with my day. When drinking, I really would do almost nothing useful.

I am new here as well. I'm on day 3 of my new commitment to stay sober. I glad I found this group. It helps a lot to see how others are having the same struggles. I am not working ATM either but that gives me time to read a lot and really focus on my recovery. Welcome!
