Good morning.
Awake early with coffee and spoiled cat. Gdaughter is sleeping and I wish I was darn it. I was pooped last night and looking forward to an early night already.

We are heading back into winter ourselves. It is 28 degrees outside. I’ll be joining you Chloe watching Hallmark Christmas movies the rest of the month.

Hair whacking went well. One more cut in 6 weeks and it should be all gray. After radiation years ago it grew in curlier from my ears down which I liked. It’s sheared off for now.

I met my friends backyard chickens yesterday. One of them likes to be held and snuggled. I have a bird in the freezer and did not buy any at the grocery store yesterday out of guilt I guess. She gave me a dozen eggs which I will definitely eat. A semi vegetarian I thought I would never be!

Astro I really don’t know how you manage that schedule. You deserve a weekend trip with your wife.

I loved your Larry the cat laugh Sao. Good way to start the day.

Val, I like chickens pets or food but I do not snuggle with them. To curl up with a chicken is hilarious to me : Maybe eat cheese and crackers while we cuddle and caress together on a bear rug by the fireplace Ry cat would not like that.

SG, I didn't know they had, I haven't been watching sports too much lately. I think it's probably not a bad move. I wonder who they'll put in his place. What do you think? I don't think he particularly added much to the overall experience. I hope they're better next year.
It is rainy and ugly today. After saying how nice it's been lately, I guess we have a few days of cold and rain.
I am up pretty early this morning and can't go back to sleep.

Brother saw his chemo doc yesterday and admitted that he was feeling much better. That's progress! I'm happy for him. Next up is getting him to physical therapy appointments. We keep plugging away.

Good lord I'm ready for a weekend to just relax and that begins today. Woke up to overcast skies so when we get to our Airbnb it'll be perfect weather to throw the doors open and spend the day reading and napping, if our dog allows it Have a great weekend, love to y'all!

Glad the haircut went well Val and even more glad your brother is feeling better Astro. Two of our royal family have recently been diagnosed with cancer which should mean there will be more discussion in the media here about tteatments, causes and research etc, which is no bad thing.

There is a lot more curl to my hair now which I guess is normal. We got about 7 inches of snow..Kind of ready for the snow to be done for the season.

Sao I’ve been a royal watcher since the Diana days. I woke up in the middle of the night 42 years ago to watch the wedding. Tears welled up seeing Princess Catherine’s announcement. I have recently read more younger people are battling the beast. I do hope awareness is raised. Knowledge is power.

No snow accumulation forecast here. It was strange to get a weather alert for high wind gusts of 55 mph. That’s expected and not unusual at all. Pretty soon you’ll be barbecuing CK!

I wish the Bears would get a little better O line to protect the QB. I heard they had good draft picks. I hope they don't screw it up. I would like to see the Bears be the Monsters of the Midway again. There is so much history with that team. I watched Brian's Song with my nephew, big time football player in h,s. and I think he was impressed. Oh well. Thanks for keeping me informed SG! Now he's killing it with Brazilian Jui jitsu. He's really into it and is very good He wins almost all his tournaments. I worry about him though because he has MD and afraid a kick to the head wouldn't be prudent. I love my niece and nephews so much.
Sao, sorry about the cancer in the royal family. I guess Fergie has cancer too. Kate is so beautiful and has all those children. I hope she is ok.
Feeling better today. Got a little better sleep. It makes a difference.

Thank you all for extending good wishes and thoughts for my brother, I so appreciate it!

Weekend getaway was lots of fun, and the location was so beautiful (look up Boulder Hideaway, Florence, AZ on Airbnb) A little rain, cold, lots of wind but my wife and I always enjoy our travels and find ways to pass the time. I always enjoy the cooking, hot coffee in the morning, and a woodstove warmed us up nicely when we awoke.
