Got up at 5:30 'cause of the dog looking for his ball & wanting to go out. Debated coffee or bed. Bed won. Surprisingly I feel good after yesterdays snow shoveling escapade. Wife was looking at snow blowers online. Gym should be open today.

Good sleep. Got to bed at 10:30pm. Dog was unusually quiet this AM. Found him sleeping in the hallway, let him out & fed him. He seems ok. He has a bum leg with an arthritic knee, sometimes it really bothers him.

Morning smokes and coffee.
Son in law coming over to fill flat tire up. Car has appointment at 10:00
for oil change and now tire!
No plans tonight. Will be asleep long before midnight.

Good morning y'all,
unhg, dreamt last night that I was going to work Saturday afternoon for a few hours. But I needed to sneak a bottle of booze into my bag first. My wife would not leave me alone long enough to do that. Then my teeth started crumbling and falling out inside my mouth. I was glad to wake up this morning and get out of that dream.
Looking forward to a sober day today. Best wishes for y'all and a happy sober new year!

We are in Borrego Springs and I doubt that 10% of this little retirement town will be awake at midnight tonight. Works perfect for us because we won't be either.

When to bed early last night. Was woken up by the fireworks. Then I had to go pickup my son-the-bartender at 2:30am.
Back to work tomorrow, so I'll need to spend some time today making sure I'm ready. I haven't shaved since Christmas eve and my wife is starting to call me mountain man.
