Hmmm i would say AA can get you sober, how sober is up to you...
I am certain there is no heaven or hell in the literal meaning of the word, that is all man made intepretations to suit our egos...for me heaven and hell is either being in contact or cut off from the God of your understanding...so i guess i would say that AA can give you the opportunity to either get closer to heaven or hell in this lifetime...

meetings have taught me many thinks,...most important I think is keeping an open mind. I think the more that is shared the more I learn. After 11 years I still feel the need to learn.
this was a little saying I picked up in rehab,...just was curious to see if it would strike up conversation,....

There are people who hang on to anger, resentments, and don't go to their AA meetings, that is hell.
There are people who practice compassion, wisdom, and attend their AA meetings, that is heaven.
