Question - addiction - cell phones
I wouldn't buy him a thing, but he does have the best case on the market that hooks to his jeans or belt.
I only call him but one day a week to discuss schedule of his and sons visit. He usually answers. Today he answered and I guess felt led to tell me his phone got ran over this time.... Lord knows when. It was just 3 weeks ago he told me he exchanged his phone because it had funny sounds interfering on it.
Now I know. This has happened too often with his phone.

maybe he's simply using the phone thing as his 'cover' for not calling/avoiding you and your son when he's using?
Shellslove hit on something. When I was out getting high, doing my 'thing', when my husband, kids, parents, etc. would call my cell, I always hit ignore, or I just wouldn't answer...I mean, here I was out smoking cocaine, and I knew if my husband was calling me he'd (rightly) be raising hell at me if I answered and that would f'up my buzz, so I just wouldn't answer and when I got home, he'd ask "why didn't you answer your phone?" I always said that I didn't hear it ring, or it didn't have a signal, or simply it's a piece of sh!t phone.
I still think about how I used to worry everyone in my family when I'd do that. I have a lot of guilt because of it.

I just hope he's not crushing the phones and snorting them to get high.
Well, upon taking our son to the Eye Dr. today, AH showed me his new phone. It has no back on it. Said they don't have any backs and are going to send him one. Okay.
Does it ever end????
