Support strong behind you. Continue with
willingness to achieve what you want and
need most of all.

Whether it be nicotine and or sobriety.

My experience was that Day 3 was hard, and Day 7. After that it was near 30 days...because if you go beyond that you're really quitting.

Keep on keepin' on.

read it's good to make a list why to quit
1. Dislike being in bondage to nicotine and smoking behaviors.
2. Don’t want to be around negative people who also smoke.
3. Want to save money.
4. Don’t like the smell on my clothes and hearing people commenting on it.
5. Want to live finally without alcohol, cigarettes, illicit drugs.
6. Help to manage the diabetes, high blood pressure, and mental health.
7. Save for trips to see sons.
8. Don’t want to pick through ashtrays salvaging used butts.
9. I focus and concentrate better when not smoking.

Day 1 of not smoking. Spent time today watch videos and read about quiting. Just like I have plan to stay sober I have put together 1 for cigarettes. It has to be cold turkey.

No more dried lips, yellow fingers, stinky clothes, smelly breadth.

I am ready for this change.

Full two weeks today....thank goodness...had to do some rational voice/thought decision making this morning....

I have now stopped smoking for 2 weeks, 12 hours, 39 minutes, 10 seconds. That translates into 174 cigarettes NOT smoked, for a savings of $61.01! At 5 minutes per cigarette I have increased my life expectancy by 14 hours, 31 minutes, 37 seconds.

I posted this on Day 8
read it's good to make a list why to quit
1. Dislike being in bondage to nicotine and smoking behaviors.

7. Save for trips to see sons.
8. Don’t want to pick through ashtrays salvaging used butts.
9. I focus and concentrate better when not smoking.

I should add to it especially the combination of using nicotine and alcohol together.
