Hey, 4 days is 4 days!! You are on the right path!!! The 3rd day was hardest for me for some reason. Going on day 8 here, have had a little urge here and there but have fought it off so far!

Cudos on the sober time. Word of advice, each day you are sober is a big accomplishment, the same as it is for me, so don't undersell your accomplishment ok
I know that you can find your path to sobriety, health and happiness. Take my case for instance... I drank a mickey (fifth) a day for almost two years before I was able to finally regain my balance and sobriety last year... plus or minus a slip here and there. I did the liver enzyme/function test last month... I am fine... liver is in good shape, body is healthy... well subject to those darn cigars (which I am going to quit)... and I am happily involved in life again.
In short, there is always hope so long as you can take a breath so keep up the good work and have faith in yourself... when your confidence waines, seek support from those that inspire you on here or in other areas of your life.
You deserve nothing but the best!

HEY!!!! 4 days is GREAT, I was touting off on here my 4th day as well!!! As turkey said my 3rd day w/out alcohol was my worst, also. I am assuming because I never went more than two day without getting plowed. WELCOME to SR it is a wonderful, strong and supportive community. If you dont have a recovery program in place yet, before your drink.....COME HERE AND TELL US. We will try to help. I go to AA and am finding it a wonderful fellowship. There are many paths along this journey we have chosen, hope you find one for you soon.
