My Hair (warning this post is full of joy)
Sounds great Kevin. I'm glad you went to a professional and stayed away from the Grecian Formula stuff. I've seen some bad skunk effects created from G formula gone wrong. What is that stuff anyway? Haircolor that comes in a Visine bottle?? It's just not right.

Oh definitely go for the manicure! You will love it.
Funny that this topic has come up...I have been in a funk and my hubby just told me today that he wants me to make an appmt to get my hair colored and styled, my brows waxed and all those things that make me feel better and good about myself!
And he likes manicures for himself even more than I do for me! So try it, you'll like it!

Arura its taken me back a few I guess, its just good to make the gray dissapear.
I am also growing my hair long again as opposed to the No 1 crewcut I usually have, its already grown some, but has a way to go.
Getting Hairy in here.
Monday and me and me hair is off to work.
Have a great 24.

Hey Kevin, I want to grow my hair out too. 12 years ago, I got rid of my husband and my hair. I was a bit rebellious and he hated short hair. So, you guessed it, I was suddenly sporting a new short do. Now, here I am and I swear I've been trying to let it grow out for 10 years. I start looking like Bozo the clown, I can't stand it and more, I grab the scissors and I'm short again. I would love to have a cute chin length bob. I keep telling myself, this time, I'm going to weather the storm. Sigh...we will see.
I'm the exact opposite, Muse. I have had long hair for forever. Two years ago I got really brave and let someone cut it pretty short (less than shoulder length.) I absolutely loved it. Later, when it started growing out and looking funky, I tried to have someone else repeat the same cut. She did not do a good job. Then I went crazy and got a perm. I already have curly hair so that was seriously gross!!! I don't know what I was thinking. Since then, I have had my hair cut twice (in about 18 months), so I am back to long again! When it's this hot (102, heat index 115 today) I would rather have a crew cut.
Oh...I remember those days, long hair in the summer heat. I have very thick hair and I remember it sticking to my neck. I doubt if i ever will have long hair again. It is to hard to cover the grey with long hair, takes two bottles of color. But let me say this...PERMANENT??? Oh Lordy, what where you thinking. Haha...don't ever do that again.

That's a deal Kevin. This may be harder for me than it was to stop drinking. I'll come here and post and you will tell me put the scissors down. I wasn't kidding when I said I have been trying to grow my hair out for 10 years. Eeekk!

Ok, count me in on the manicure, hair color but not the hair cut. I have long red hair and just can't bear the idea of going short. Too many people like to play with it LOL!!!!
I'll be waiting very anxiously for those pics Kevin!!!!
Hugs,
Kellye
