Yesterday I went and had my hair dyed. I was fed up looking at very short very gray hair and not much of it. So I grew my hair a bit and yesterday had it dyed. Its Magic ; this morning I keep looking in the mirror, no grey and the colour is a cuple of shades lighter than my original colour.

None of my workmates even noticed! That was good in a way, but of course I told them and then the jokes where flying all afternoon.


Really its just another glorious day in the arms of recovery doing the drill and living life on lifes terms, sometimes tough and often joyous if I let myself feel it.

Thanks mertyl and I am feeling positive, but have learnt to do things in recovery regardless of how I feel about it, thats how I move forward. Of course I would rather be postive all the time, but hey thats life!

I thought next I could get a brain and foot transplant, then that the top and bottom all fixed

Hey hairy ....i need to give my hair a little attention too....my grays are taking over, everytime I dye it my daughter wants me to do hers....

i am like no Mommy NEEDS this you have beautiful blonde hair ....but when you are 6 i guess it is hard to understand...

Hey Smyle, like the colour that spills over my head, its recovery that spills out here, its of all colours some dark some bright, I just rejoice in everyone.

Sobriety I would have said will new alot more than that but these I am often content being me.

Just back to what used to be my natural color. The box calls it "Roasted Chestnut." It's so hot here, it's hard to imagine anything roasted being attractive, but we shall see!

Roasted Chestnut sounds good its cold here. Mine is a couple of shades lighter than my original colour and to me looks like it has a bit of red in it
