as for me right now I am staying away from the Dr.
and the nerve test and the MRI and the bla bla bla
and sticking with Physical Therapy, they seem to have the real scoop and get results

Hi beautiful and lovely DQ family!
No quitting today! I feel really exhausted. I'm having sleeping troubles again and I feel tired during the day. I am afraid that if I nap, it will cause more problems getting so sleep. So, I am hoping that maybe tonight will bring me some rest. If not, I'll probably just study for a while until I get get a little shut eye.
Summer classes are grueling. Hmm... my grades are pretty good. I am really hard on myself for making Bs when I want As...LOL. I have to keep myself in check and remember to be grateful that my grades are better than they used to be when I was in active addiction.
I am seeing improvements and I like it! I've had some bad days because I am battling depression but I've had more good days than bad. Even on the bad days I remember that I will have more good days so I keep pushing forward.
Sometimes the bad days help us to truly appreciate the good days. :-)

Hope, I had to laugh about expecting to get As. I am the same way. You should have seen my mortification when I got a C on a biology exam! WHAT?!
Work sucked today. Actually I thought I had a great day, but made a call to team leader and all I had done was duplicate files he had done earlier, so I can't even put them on my spreadsheet as work I have done as they are duplicates. I am in a sour mood about it. THIS is a big problem. Apparently the field guys have lost alot of files. I don't want to rat them out...but this is a real problem for us researchers. It really discouraged me and I have been really working at going to work with a positive outlook. Tomorrow will be harder because of this. I even phoned the field guy, saying, it is colored on our map indicating it has been done and his says NO, he doesn't have it. Team leader has exact dates he turned them in to him. And I like this field guy so much too!
Oh well, I still got paid the same and from now on, I will triple check when I get field requests,...otherwise I will work from my own list that I know hasn't been done all ready.
But, man! what I did today would have really looked good on me and now I can't even count it. BLECH
After being on medical leave I wanted to come back strong! And make them glad they kept me on. Y'know?

nice to hear you are doing well in summer school, the pace is tough eh?
Saw a bio on Betty Ford and she was really quite an amazing woman.
People said she had no "class" when she announced to the world she was an alcoholic and an addict.
Then people were even more outraged when she wouldnt shut up about it.
Her brave actions did much to save other alcoholics and to begin to educate
the public about addiction and the fact that it surly is an equal
oppurtunity disease, (or affliction if you prefer).

((Cheryl)) Just keep doing the best you can. Our expectation of ourselves and others seem to alway be HUGE!! You are doing great!! I learn more on the job, then any book could ever teach me.
((live)) That does suck. But, oh well, your right, at least you got paid. Sounds like a good idea to develope a system so it doesn't happen again.
My uncle just called to see how I was feeling and invite us to a graduation party at a bar where I grew up. He said he didn't want me to feel left out. I told him to tell her Congrats and if I felt better, I may make it. Still limited on even how much I can ride in a car. Weird!!

((Ash)) When I first realized I had a drinking problem, hubby and I went to the library. I checked out the Betty Ford book and the Big Book!! Can you believe that is how I started my journey!! LOL
Come to find out, one of my dearest friends in AA donated that Big Book to the library!!

Well, I guess I missed the part when the Dr. said I could/would have mood swings for a couple weeks. This evening, I just didn't feel right. Then my sponsor pulled up with Frosties from Wendy's. I just started crying. I really needed her right then. Amazing how people just appear sometimes.
