Place for me?
Hi all,
I am new to this site, and I just wanted to know if this forum is only for alcoholics...or does it encompass substance abuse of all kinds?
I ask because I finally admitted to myself that I am a substance abuser, and it has gone from marijuana to alcohol to painkillers back to severe alcohol. If I was ever around any other substances, I would probably overuse them also. I just seem to have a problem being sober.
I just wanted to know if this is the right forum for me, and if so, I can delve into more info.

We do have different forums and you may use several different ones for help.
I did use drugs too but alcohol hooked me.
Pull up your chair...read and ask questions if you like.

Hi and wecome i'm also new in the forum but from what i'v read as long as you have a addictive nature you welcome to place a opinion on the table for everbody it pike at and answer you on.
My main choice was Drink, but also did other drugs and some where realy hard the reson i call myself an Alcoholic is cuace it was alot harder to kick the booze that the coke,

You Belong!
Welcome Brohaculo. You most certainly belong. Not matter what the addiction is, an addict is an addict. It can be food, alcohol, drugs, sex, etc. (you get the idea)! Since I am an addict of all the above, I have to work my recovery program in all areas. Nothing changes unless you change it right?!?!I try to get on here whenever I get a chance. Recovery is a day by day thing for me. I have not found it necessary to indulge in any mind altering substances for 22 months now, that is by far a miracle for me.
Let me know if I may be of service, I would be glad to share my success and failures at any time.
