Well I made it through the first night. I woke up with the shakes a few times. A little scary but I made it through.

i'm new too

keeping taking one day at a time. its hard i have 48 days just gpt of treatment.

Well got the second night under my belt. Sleep was almost impossible, but I only got the shakes once this night. Might as well go for 3 cause tomorrow the liquor stores are all closed forcing a fourth day. It's not easy. I was craving so bad yesterday when I left work.

Once you get through the first few days, the symptoms will get better. Hang in there. You will find sleep again.

Have you made it to a meeting yet? AA saved my life. Been sober ever since I got serious about recovery. It is hard and it is scary, but you can get through it. I can attest to that. Good luck...sober is better.
