I used to think that i was never gonna be able to get and sustain being clean too. I firmly believed that i was gonna use until i died from it. I dont know what changed for me really...it just did. Glad you are sticking around and trying out NA,

If we could just get high there wouldnt be a problem, now would there????? We ultimately again and again just get lower and lower and lower to the depths.......with our addictions. It traps and snares us and hurts us and those around us.

With sobriety we learn new highs and appreciate in a different but wholesome way. It takes time and effort but the rewards are worth it......
