Happy Good Friday. Alcohol used to be illegal to sell in Ireland on Good Friday so naturally people stocked up Holy Thursday and Good Friday was the biggest drinking day of the year. We really do have a mildly insane drinking culture here.

I have good news. Might seem small but feels like a good Friday miracle. My coil was burnt and I was broke. Then I found an unopened coil in my drawer. I was sure I didn't have any. Maybe my higher power put it there lol, but it's hard to imagine St Catherine doing such a thing lol.
Congrats FiveTries and Runner! Keep up the great work! Seeing you pile up those sober days is motivating for me!
I am checking in to commit to 24 more sober hours with you all. Day 16 here. Busy day ahead at work today and glad I am taking it on sober and without a hangover.
ODAAT. I won’t be picking up that first drink today. Have a great day all!

Hi all. Back from our trip a couple days ago. I was not successful in staying sober for the entirety to the trip. I’m trying not to view it as a failure, but more of an awareness of how quickly I can flip from sobriety being important to not caring. I’m a bit disappointed given that I did handle some triggering things well, but ultimately fell
into old patterns.
The college visits went well and we learned that small liberal arts colleges are the best fit. So in that respect it was a successful trip.
Day 1 and feeling a little defeated, but eager to get back to doing the things that were working.

I'm being quite generous calling today day 2. I was drinking midnight ish Wednesday night and not sure if I drank past 1159pm. But it feels like day 2, y'know? Like I was very much sober and hungover yesterday and feel fine today?
If it were me I’d call it day 1 because in 6 months time I won’t give a shite because I’ll still be sober.
”very much sober” …. Only a tiny bit drunk at 11:59. You must be kidding.
It’s not about how you feel next day it’s about the commitment to complete sobriety. . You always seem to leave a ***** open, just that tiny bit Freedom.
