Peke, I am definitely not frustrated with you. I hope your surgery was successful even though it didn't help with needing to void often. I also check out where the restrooms are whenever I'm out.
Oh thank you Anna! XOXO

I did. Thanks.

It's day 7 off alcohol today so that's good. My friend invited me to his NA meeting last night but my internet is only good enough outside and I'm in pyjamas still so it wasn't doable with the cold. I'm sure some people would laugh at me calling Irish winter cold tho lol. It's like 5C

See my psychiatrist this morning. Hopefully get day clothes back. I dunno if my bloods will be back before I see him but they should be good.

Happy Friday, everyone!! Doing my final volunteer day for the week. I am REALLY glad that I volunteered this week because it helped with the little bit of post-holiday blues that I did have. I always feel better myself when I help others.

It has also been good to wake up early again, as I allowed myself to sleep late over Christmas which was nice, but I like time to think in the mornings and to have my coffee. Not much going on for New Year's but will go to a brother's on New Year's Day for lunch, which is always nice. Have a great day, all!!

FF, 5C is spring here in Norway.

It's day 54 and all is well. Calm and happy today. I have started writing on my children's book again, and it feels wonderful. My goal is 500 words a day, which is doable. That would translate into 20 000 words by the time I'm finished here.

Wish you all a wonderful day!

Congrats on 54 and working away on your book.

Irish people don't do well with slightly cold or slightly hot weather lol. Our climate is very temperate. Quite lucky really.

Hi All,
I'm not really much of a day counter,
But I realized that today is 6 weeks for me.
I'm having my morning coffee and watching my two kittens play.
They're so cute I can't stand it!
Later my girlfriend is coming over and I'll make us fried rice for a late lunch
Then we will go to church.
I'm very happy that I met this lady,
She has never used alcohol and I enjoy drinking tea together.
So things are going well in Zenithville for a change!
I hope you all have a good sober day

I am from Melbourne, Australia, FF, and until a few years ago, I had never experienced anything below 0C, and now I can go outside at -10C with a singlet top and a hoodie to take out the rubbish easily. I LOVE the cold weather now.

Like you I have to void frequently. I was hoping that when they did this surgery (my uterus was stuck to my bladder from previous surgeries among other issues) that it would help. Doesn’t seem to be doing much so far. But I have a lot of anxiety because I always feel like I have to be near a restroom. Once in bike club I raced way ahead of the guys and went behind a tree. Lots of guys do this. But not the ladies.
Anyway. Please try to stay on a healthy path. I know it’s easy for me to say. I often feel like ppl get frustrated with me. Because I’m my own worst enemy. But please try. You’re worth it.
LOL, Peke, I've done the pee behind a tree thing during long runs and once before a very crowded race(we created a circle around each us girls for privacy.)

Ya gotta do what you gotta do!

Also, I have an iffy bladder so have to pee a lot too, I don't care what other people think about that, it's just a physical thing I can't change.

Thanks Anna and Peke, your posts really made me smile. So nice to have the support!

Double figures today: 10 days. Feeling much better than 10 days ago. Went for a run today. That endorphin rush after running is just something else!

Hope you're all surviving this odd in between time. I really hope next year is better than this year for you all, me included!

6 months. Yay!!
Day one of three days of 12 hour shifts. How about that to go into the New Year? I cannot believe how much has changed.

Gonna eat and sleep. Never thought about drinking today.

Love to you all. 💜
