Good Morning Weekenders

We’re having an Indian summer. Warm already at 9.30 am ish.

Dragon, thoughts pop in my head too. Just the way the mind works. Good work on not letting it stay there!

Aly, I hope all goes well with your sister’s visit. Let God and let go is a good thought. I saw this pic and thought of you. Plenty of choice of books here for your mom.

Love to all Weekenders xxxx

Well that was beautiful hot and sunny long weekend. Today it's cold, blustery, and raining. Appropriate for the first day of school.

Have a great day!

It may take a while, but I will try my darndest to get caught back up with all of you. Came home from hospital Saturday afternoon and pretty muich slept off and on the rest of that day and Sunday. Finally, knock on wood, feeling better. I get 2 weeks off before having to head back in. Hope everyone is well.

Alpine

I wonder if someone has to dust all those books in Trinity College library? it would take forever.

I am so glad I made it through this weekend sober. My last holiday weekend was July 4th and I didn't make it through that weekend sober. July 5th was when I swore I was done. My next holiday weekend is Thanksgiving and I know all I have to do is never take that first drink.

Alpine, hope you can really enjoy these next two weeks; how many sessions do you anticipate?

Mags, that’s some library. Wow.

Aly, there is a new supply of books for your Mom. Oooops, Mags just said that.

Bluejay, hope that your depression is clearing.

Dragon, good job on passing another challenge from your AV; pesky little devil, huh?

Vman, how old is miniV? Time flies, doesn’t it; kids grow up so fast - spoiler alert: grandkids grow up faster.

Sao, Robbie, Forwards, Dee, least, RunnerF (338?), CityBoy and ❤️.

You are all so funny. I love the library! Thanks for thinking of me and mom. I am probably going to have to get her some more books soon. I wish I could go to the library in Mag's photo. Love you all.
I have a few things to do today and I'm just resting right now. I didn't sleep very well and tried to sleep in a little bit. I got my mom her tea and newspapers and fed the strays.
Alpine, glad to hear you are feeling better. You have a tough row to hoe. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Love and peace to all. Have a wonderful day. I am so grateful for all of you.

Least - I had to take steroid meds once, they were effective for me. I found the thing to do was to take them as early as possible to avoid an evening one.

Good luck on feeling good for the next fortnight Alpine - and beyond.

Well done on 2 months D-Dog, it should be getting easier now.

Thanks Leigh, and back at you.

That is a really impressive Library Mags, it can be seen by visitors too, 7 days a week. It featured briefly in a film I saw recently but I can't remember which one.

I've seen something on TV about that library too. What a wonder. I would love to hang out there for a while. So many amazing books! I have a love affair with books too. I just don't read as fast of as much as my mom or as I used to. My eyes are still bothering me. Have to get to the eye doctor ASAP! 💗

Unhappy

Ck called me today, woke me up, to tell me that nycsis died today. I feel horrible cause I was going to call her today but now I can't call her ever again. Altho it was expected, I still feel like I'm in shock, confused, hard to believe she's gone and I'll never see her again.

It feels like each minute lasts an hour. I still feel like this can't be happening. Don't know what I'll do with myself today. I feel really anxious, wired, not hungry at all.
