I love juice and drink lots of it. I can drink anything I want, as long as it doesn't have alcohol in it.

My favorite beverage is the one God invented, H2O.
besides that however, a few cups of black coffee in morning.
I also like Canada dry ginger ale on ice.
Or cranberry juice on ice

A company here makes a line of canned sparkling waters that are flavored with about a tablespoon of fruit juice. No sugar, no artificial flavors, no calories. They're not sweet, but that tablespoon of juice gives it just enough of a kick to taste like something more than water.

Of course, you could make the same thing yourself (with sparking water and a tablespoon of fruit juice!), and probably save money along the way. But I buy the cans.

I drink about three cans on a weekend day and about one every week night.

At work, I drink green tea.

Unsweetened Ice Tea. I brew a pitcher like every other day. That and the occasional Diet Coke. Water in the evening after dinner.

Earl grey tea x 3 mugs in the morning
Black coffee x 4 cups throughout the day
From 7 pm Home-made Ginger toddy - water/grated ginger/lemon/ star anise - it has a kick like a mule and no sugar.

That ginger toddy sounds great! Can imagine a warm one of those on a chilly evening would go down a treat.

I used to "kick start" Chrismas day with a Moscow Mule. Tripple vodka, crushed ice, ginger beer (NOT ginger ale) and a squeeze of fresh lime. Somtimes still drink it but without the vodka!!

I'm defo giving the ginger toddy a go, sounds yum. Thanks Dusty.

The ginger toddy is great - it has that adult kick and some heat and a bit of burn, plus it's delicious and no sugar!

This is the recipe - which can be amended to your own taste

4 - 6 inches of Fresh ginger root grated or chopped up - more or less depending on how strong you want it.
a couple of star anise ( or leave this out if you don't like it, star anise has a slight aniseed taste )
Place all the grated ginger in pan of boiling water of approx 2-3 pints cover with lid and simmer for about 20 minutes or longer for stronger flavour.
Pour some through a sieve into a large heat-proof glass or mug and then add a squeeze of lemon juice - about half an egg cup full, fresh or not fresh doesn't make any difference. put the ginger pulp back in the pan.

And that's it folks!

Hi
Earl Grey tea is lovely. I have milk and 1 sugar in mine. It's brewed with oil of bergamot and orange, I think?

Yes that sounds right. I can take it with or without milk depending on my mood and it works brilliantly either way. Just raided the cupboard to see if I had any in as you put me in the mood for a cup. None there! Going to have to get some tomorrow for a Friday night with the Earl. Definitely better than a Friday night with Captain Morgan.
