At 3 months, there's no reason why this can't go on permanently. Keep track of your AV. Recognize it and then ignore it. Congratulations on a great start.

The Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous tells us that:

"It is easy to let up on the spiritual program of action and rest on our laurels. We are headed for trouble if we do, for alcohol is a subtle foe. We are not cured of alcoholism. What we really have is a daily reprieve contingent on the maintenance of our spiritual condition."

That is why I am very fond of the response to anniversaries that says: Congratulations -- now the work starts!

Feel to PM me if you want to chat more about what I have come to believe "the work" means in this context.

Thank you, all. Your encouragement and wishes mean a lot to me.
Dee, you are right. I should be super careful. AV is hiding right in the closet.

Yesterday, my daughter was like, "Daddy you aren't buying beer anymore and running at the gym regularly. Great to see you like this." I need to keep up this respect. I want to set a good example for my kids to follow and I will try me best to do it.

What a gift your daughter gave you!

What a gift sobriety has given you.

Don't take that lightly. This is what life is about. You are doing it and the world has noticed. You have noticed.
These are the moments we need to keep in our tool box for when things ain't so peachy.
