One month

31 days, One month today!
My self and my S.O. together....

Thats about 300 beers that stayed on the shelf.
OMG...300 beers...
And God only know how many HOURS of face drooling watching "amazing" you tube vids that
we couldnt remember in the morning !?

Thanks to all here who inspired this milestone.

That is a TON of toxic liquid that your bodies did not have to grapple with, try as they might to detoxify, and rid themselves of all else. What a gift that is to your bodies and minds!!! Well done to you and your SO Ascended!!!

Wow, what a different experience. Two of you quitting!

I always feel for those who are trying to quit whilst their partner continues drinking. It must make it infinitely tougher.

Nothing wrong with a few face drooling videos

but you’ll have so much more time on your hands now for useful and enjoyable stuff. That’s the secret - do an activity that doesn’t go with drink. You soon get “addicted” to that activity and drink gets (mostly) forgotten about. What I’ve learned most from SR is that this is an ongoing battle, but one month and -300 beers is a great start.
