Hello Andrew. Welcome to Sober Recovery (SR). I haven't been here for a day so am new here just like you. You are not alone in not having family either. I am sharing that same journey as you.

We've got this!

Welcome Andrew! You can find friends here. I've made lots of friend on SR. Even got a lovely cat from one member.

I hope we can help you deal with your addiction and find new meaning to your life.

Welcome Andrew

It really helped me to find a community like this where people understood me and my struggle. I think you'll find it a help too

Welcome Andrew.

One new meaning for your life could be sobriety. Make it personal, do it for yourself. The bridges that can be mended will mend and new ones will most certainly open up for you.

But the only road of addiction is destruction - sooner or later - it's a one way street.

Lot's of help and resources here. Don't be afraid to reach out or post away. Be good to you.

-B

Welcome!
It sounds like your family has put some boundaries in place for the time being. You can change your life and get sober.
One day at a time. You can do this!
