I made it to day 8. Oh my goodness this has taken a mighty effort, barely any sleep since I stopped although that's hardly surprising and I know it will get better as long as I don't drink or use. I want to be sober more than I want to drink. If I pick up my past will become my future. Feel like i'm just ranting here but maybe it will help someone. Sleep or no sleep I have peace and gratitude when my head hits the pillow at night. love you all.

I feel your pain, someday. Sounds like you dealt with that craving well. Sadly they’ll be back. Hopefully you have a few tricks and an activity to keep you occupied?

Thanks Hevyn I appreciate that. Day 10 now very grateful I have lived and breathed recovery to get here. I just love being sober so much it keeps me going.
